According to the industry on the 24th, the Ansan branch of the Central Region Employment and Labor Administration lifted the work stoppage for eight production lines that had been shut down following the worker's death. Earlier, on the 23rd, the Ministry of Labor visited the factory for a final inspection of the equipment and held a review committee meeting on the same day, leading to this decision.

Earlier, around 3 a.m. on the 19th of last month, a female worker in her 50s died after becoming caught in machinery while applying lubricant on a "spiral cooling conveyor" at SPC Samlip's Siheung plant. Immediately after the incident, the Ministry of Labor issued a work stoppage order for eight lines. In response, SPC Samlip halted operations on all 29 production lines in the factory.

SPC Samlip plans to dismantle and discard the spiral cooling conveyor, the equipment involved in the accident. The remaining seven lines are also set to resume operations soon.

A representative from SPC noted, "We have completed all the corrective measures required by the Ministry of Labor and are resuming operations of the halted production lines."
