Musinsa announced on the 20th that it has obtained the international standard certification for the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (ISO45001) from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

ISO45001 is the international standard aimed at managing various hazardous risk factors that may occur at business sites to reduce industrial accidents and create a safe working environment for workers.

Musinsa stated that it established a dedicated organization for health and safety management in March 2023 and has continued various activities to comply with relevant laws and regulations. Specifically, it conducted ▲a check on the implementation of new offline site improvement measures ▲the establishment of an accident response process ▲the operation of a health management office ▲the establishment of communication channels for workers.

The certification audit process evaluated multiple items, including ▲leadership and worker participation from the management ▲identification of hazardous risk factors and risk assessment ▲compliance with legal requirements ▲goal and performance management systems ▲emergency response and accident management systems ▲internal audits and improvement activities. Musinsa met all the criteria and obtained the certification.

Previously, in February, Musinsa's logistics subsidiary, Musinsa Logistics, also acquired the ISO45001 certification. A Musinsa official noted, "We will continue systematic safety management activities that meet international standards."
