Hanwha Galleria operates the premium ice cream brand "Benson," whose operator, Veruscoop Creamery, recently replaced its CEO.
According to the restaurant industry on the 19th, Seojong Won, the institutional sector manager of Hanwha Galleria, has been appointed as the new CEO. The former CEO, Oh Min-woo, who led F&J Korea, has stepped down to focus on the Five Guys business in Korea.
Both brands are being developed by the beverage and food subsidiaries of Hanwha Galleria.
The new CEO, who has worked in the new business brand sector and others, is an F&B expert with extensive experience in the beverage and food operations at Galleria. He is expected to oversee the brand expansion and operations of Benson in the future.
Benson is a brand directly planned and launched by Kim Dong-seon, the son of Hanwha Group Chairman Kim Seung-yeon and the Vice President of Galleria, which opened its first store last month in Apgujeong Rodeo. The pre-launch party captured attention as Vice President Kim was seen visiting the store with Shin Yu-yeol, Vice President of LOTTE Corporation.
