Coupang's private brand (PB) manufacturing subsidiary CPLB announced on the 17th that it participated in the '2025 Digital Distribution and Logistics Expo' hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, jointly with 30 small and medium manufacturing partners, successfully finishing the event amid great interest.

The expo, held from Nov. 11 to Nov. 13 for three days, was the first opportunity for small and medium manufacturers producing Coupang PB products from all over the country to meet directly with consumers, government officials, and buyers from the distribution industry. A total of over 2,200 attendees visited the event over the three days, enjoying a great response.

CPLB provided dedicated booths for 30 small cooperation companies, and participating companies promoted both Coupang PB products and their own brands, leading to various consultations and responses.

During the exhibition period, representatives from manufacturers communicated directly with consumers, explaining their products and providing opportunities to experience each product.

Han Yoon-kyung, the representative of 'Daehan Food', a nurungji manufacturer based in Naju, Jeollanam-do, noted during a visit from ministry officials, "We adhere to the traditional method of cooking rice using Naju's rich rice, allowing the taste of freshly cooked rice to be felt," adding, "Our ability to focus on product quality stems from the support and responsibility for sales channels and marketing provided by CPLB. Thanks to a stable distribution foundation, we can fully dedicate ourselves to production, which has increased consumer satisfaction."

Shin Kwon-sik, an executive at GS Chemical, which makes kitchen products, said, "For small businesses, participating in such a large-scale exhibition is not easy, but the booths were better arranged than expected, and there were many visitors, making it a truly great promotional opportunity."

CPLB's Jeong Kyung-soo stated, "This expo was a meaningful opportunity beyond simple exhibition, allowing small manufacturers to introduce their brands and products directly and feel the consolidation with the market. Many people responded enthusiastically, and I find that very rewarding," adding, "We will actively support our partners so they can secure more sales channels and grow as valuable brands."
