Hanwha Galleria announced on the 15th that it will open a pop-up store for the Gangwon Sokcho restaurant 'Bongpo Meoguri House' at its luxury department store in Seoul until the 3rd of next month.
Bongpo Meoguri House, which started in Sokcho, Gangwon, in 2004, has become famous for its mulhoe made with seafood harvested directly from the Sokcho sea, continuing a family business through two generations.
The pop-up store will feature a variety of local dishes that reflect the characteristics of the Gangwon region, including the signature dish mulhoe, natural sea urchin roe, squid sundae, shrimp sauce, and corn bibimbap.
A representative of Hanwha Galleria said, 'We are introducing the Bongpo Meoguri House pop-up that captures the freshness of the Gangwon sea for summer, and we plan to collaborate with local specialty restaurants across the country to provide customers with new gourmet experiences.'
