Shinsegae International announced on the 13th that it will change the brand name of its digital platform, S.I. Village, to 'Shinsegae V.'

Shinsegae International noted that it changed its brand name to 'Shinsegae V' to strengthen its identity and enhance its recognition through an intuitive and concise brand name. The existing S.I. Village was meant to signify the integration of various brands operated by Shinsegae International into one village; however, as it operates more than 2,000 diverse brands beyond its own, the change was made to widen future scalability and diversity.

The new brand name, Shinsegae V, combines the core word 'Shinsegae' from the existing S.I. Village with the 'V' from 'village,' implying 'VERY' as in being most true to oneself and most representative of Shinsegae. The strategy is to establish Shinsegae V as Korea's leading luxury platform through rebranding, allowing customers to experience Shinsegae's unique perspective.

With the concept of 'VERY ME, VERY SHINSEGAE,' it provides a high-end shopping experience for trend leaders with the most authentic tastes. To this end, it will unveil campaign visuals and videos featuring nine influential trend leaders, including fashion models Shin Hyun-ji and Park Sung-jin.

UX/UI has also been improved. The main screen has been revamped with a variety of content and high-sensitivity visuals, and the previously complicated categories of beauty, clothing, accessories, golf, and kids have been concisely organized into fashion, beauty, and lifestyle.

To celebrate the rebranding, Shinsegae V will hold the 'Shinsegae V Festival,' offering the maximum benefits of the first half of the year from now until the 22nd. During the event, the first 1,000 people each day at 2 p.m. will receive 10,000 e-points, totaling 100 million won in shopping support funds, and the first 3,000 people at 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. will each receive 14% shopping bag coupons and 7% double coupons.

A representative from Shinsegae International said, 'Prior to the platform rebranding, we meticulously analyzed customer surveys regarding brand recognition, favorability, satisfaction, and areas needing improvement, and used this as a foundation for the makeover,' adding, 'We will continue to solidify our position as Korea's top luxury digital platform through advanced services that actively reflect customer feedback.'
