On the 12th, Hyundai Green Food, a comprehensive food company under the Hyundai Department Store Group, announced that its sales in the greeting institutional sector for May increased by 18% compared to the previous year. Greeting is a care food specialty brand launched for the first time in Korea by Hyundai Green Food.

During the same period, sales by age group showed that sales from customers under 30 surged by 53% compared to the previous year, while sales from customers aged 70 and over also increased by 36%.

A representative from Hyundai Green Food noted that continuously launching care food new products targeting the elderly and the MZ generation was effective.

Diversifying distribution channels also contributed to the strong performance of greeting. Hyundai Green Food has been selling greeting through its official online mall 'Greeting Mall,' but starting this year, it is increasing sales through new distribution channels such as Coupang, Kurly, Kakao Talk Gift, and TV home shopping.

In fact, sales from other distribution channels outside of its own mall, Greeting Mall, from January to May this year increased by about 4.6 times compared to the same period last year.
