In a congratulatory video for the ‘2025 ChosunBiz Consumer and Retail Forum’ held at the Westin Josun Hotel in Seoul on the 11th, the mayor said, “In the face of global upheaval, K-Brands are capturing the hearts of consumers around the world with quality, emotion, and storytelling.”

The forum was held under the theme ‘In an era of uncertainty, K-Brands provide answers.’ The mayor noted that Seoul is also planning to present the entire city as a single brand.

He said, “Health platform ‘Wrist Doctor 9988’, a new traffic paradigm to save the planet ‘Climate Companion Card’, an offline library opened in the digital age ‘Seoul Outdoor Library’, and the transition to a city with gardens through the ‘Seoul International Garden Show’ are examples of Seoul’s urban branding.”

He continued, “All these brands reflect the values of life and the allure of the city that Seoul pursues,” adding, “I expect the synergy that will occur at the intersection of Seoul’s urban brand and the commercial brands of distribution.”
