Theborn Korea will operate under the sole representation of Paik Jong-won.
Theborn Korea announced on the 9th that it would transition from a shared leadership system with Paik Jong-won and Kang Seok-won to a system under Paik Jong-won's sole leadership. This change is due to the resignation of Kang Seok-won, who will, however, retain his position as an inside director.
Theborn Korea explained that it decided to change its leadership system to address issues related to decision-making delays and unclear responsibilities that had arisen under the shared leadership structure. Paik Jong-won will lead the overall management of Theborn Korea going forward.
Theborn Korea plans to establish a strategic planning headquarters directly under the CEO to lead integrated risk management, improve management efficiency, and overhaul the management system. This headquarters will serve a pivotal role in entering global markets and discovering new business opportunities, while functioning as a 'control tower' to turn current crises into opportunities.
Theborn Korea also recruited external professional managers to fundamentally improve issues related to origin labeling, food safety, and franchise management, which have recently become controversial. It plans to delegate authority to professional managers in each institutional sector to establish a 'responsible management system' and achieve field reforms and restore customer trust.
Theborn Korea has expanded its quality and food safety management team, decentralized its franchise business division, and launched a win-win committee. It also decided to establish an organization dedicated to planning and exporting overseas products. Additionally, it has created an audit team, a public relations team, and an information security team to strengthen the foundation of ethical management and restore trust internally and externally.
