ORION announced on the 5th that it has launched the 'Dr. You Jeju Lava Water Radu Edition,' which features Radu, the popular character from Whale Snacks, on the packaging.
The newly introduced edition was designed to make Dr. You Jeju Lava Water, made from lava seawater, familiar and fun for both children and parents by utilizing the Radu character. Dr. You Jeju Lava Water is an alkaline drinking water with a hardness of 200, sourced from the mineral-rich, pristine water resources of Jeju Island's lava seawater. ORION explained that it has undergone 104 quality tests, nearly double the 54 water quality management standards, ensuring it is safe to drink.
The packaging features Radu in various scenes, from wearing a haenyeo outfit to enjoying a picnic in a canola flower field and helping with the harvest at a tangerine farm, capturing unique characteristics of the Jeju region. It will be released as a 330㎖ small-size product that is not burdensome for children to drink.
An ORION official noted, 'By integrating Radu, the popular character from Whale Snacks, with Dr. You Jeju Lava Water, we enhanced its approachability and visual appeal,' and said, 'We expect to further expand our touchpoints with consumers.'
