Emart announced on the 3rd that it will hold a large-scale discount event called the 'Whale-it Festival' in June during the golden holiday.
This event, the fifth of the year, will take place from the 5th to the 8th for four days, offering discounts of up to 50% on Korean beef, imported pork belly and shoulder, American cherries, Gangwon heirloom tomatoes, live abalones, processed eel, fresh squid from the East Coast, and large sea bream.
More than 70 processed foods and over 80 essential household items will be offered at a 50% discount when purchasing two or more.
For large appliances from Samsung and LG Electronics such as refrigerators, air conditioners, and TVs, customers can receive an additional price benefit of up to 1.35 million won at discounted prices.
