7-Eleven announced on the 27th that it will launch 'Choco Churros,' the second product in its unique 'Cups' series of self-produced baseball snacks, on the 28th. This product features a tray that allows for various canned beverages to be enjoyed alongside it.
In response to the increasing demand for baseball-related products, 7-Eleven first introduced the 'Cups' series of ready-to-eat foods in March, designed to be enjoyed with canned beverages. The first product was 'Popcorn Chicken,' which is packaged in a circular tray that can be inserted into beer cans or soft drink cans.
The Choco Churros being launched this time are designed for convenient consumption, with Nutella chocolate spread placed in the middle of the churros, enhancing the flavor with a rich sweetness from hazelnuts. They are fried in just three minutes upon ordering.
To celebrate the launch of Choco Churros, 7-Eleven will give away Pepsi Cola cans that fit well in the tray with purchases from the 28th until the 30th of next month.
Shim Seung-wook, product planner (MD) for 7-Eleven’s ready-to-eat team, noted, "Recently, as more meals become snack-focused, the demand for handy snacks suitable for sports events and outings has been increasing," and added, "We plan to continue expanding high-quality ready-to-eat food development using excellent cooking equipment and products based on our domestic and overseas networks without any separate cooking process."
