Ayoung FBC announced on the 26th that it will introduce the low-calorie and low-alcohol wine Diablo Belight Rosé and Red.
Belight is a low-calorie series of Diablo wine. Diablo is a global wine brand owned by Concha y Toro, Chile’s largest winery, and is exported to over 130 countries, holding the top position in Chilean wine sales.
The Belight line reduces the alcohol content to 8-9 degrees compared to existing Diablo and is designed to have less than 70 kcal per 125 ml, making it enjoyable without burden even in the hot summer. It is a wine that pairs well with light meals, in line with the drinking culture of enjoying low-alcohol beverages.
Belight Rosé offers a fresh impression with the acidity of wild blackberries and plums blended with a subtle floral aroma. It is recommended to pair with light meals such as cheese or nuts. Belight Red is a wine that combines blueberry, raspberry, and cassis with a vanilla scent, featuring soft tannins and balanced flavor, making it suitable with dishes like chicken or pasta. Both wines are priced in the early 10,000 won range.
An Ayoung FBC official noted, “Diablo Belight is a product designed to be enjoyed without burden by maintaining the flavor of the original Diablo while reducing calories and alcohol content,” adding, “We aim to expand our reach with consumers who aspire to a healthy lifestyle through the light enjoyment of Rosé and Red even during the summer.”
