Coupang announced on the 25th that it is partnering with the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Korea Small and Medium Business Corporation (cooperation foundation) to support domestic small and medium-sized enterprises in entering the Taiwanese market.
This support is part of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' 'companion entry support project', which is aimed at helping small and medium-sized enterprises develop overseas sales channels.
Corporations participating in the project can receive tailored support throughout the entire export process, including product registration, marketing, logistics, customs clearance, and customer response on Coupang Taiwan. For cosmetics exporting corporations, support is also provided for the issuance of test reports, which often incurs significant expenses.
Coupang has increased the number of small and medium-sized enterprises eligible for the companion entry support project from 20 last year to 30 this year, and has also systematized the support process. Corporations wishing to participate can apply on the 'Mutual Cooperation Nuri' platform operated by the cooperation foundation from the 26th to the 1st of next month.
A Coupang official noted, 'We have established a practical export support system so that small and medium-sized enterprises with good products can find more opportunities in overseas markets,' and added, 'Through this project, we hope many small and medium-sized enterprises can settle in the Taiwanese market.'
