On the 22nd, ChosunBiz held the '2025 Korea's Most Loved Brand Awards' ceremony at the Garden Hotel Grand Ballroom in Mapo, Seoul, selecting 36 brands across 238 categories in 20 institutional sectors to receive plaques.
This year's ceremony, marking its 15th anniversary, aims to enhance the global competitiveness of domestic brands and cities while securing growth momentum, and was determined based on the Korea Brand Love Index (KBL-I).
LOTTE HIMART received the award for 15 consecutive years in the electronic appliance institutional sector. Hansot's 'Hansot Lunch Box' was recognized in the lunch box franchise institutional sector, and Ildong Foodis's 'Hudis Premium Goat Milk Formula' received the award in the infant food institutional sector for 14 consecutive years.
Additionally, Green Aloe's 'Green Aloe' won the award for 12 consecutive years in the aloe health functional food institutional sector. 'Run Hospital' received the award in the spine and joint hospital institutional sector, while T&I's 'Ganuda' was recognized for 12 years and 10 years in the functional pillow institutional sector.
In the PB service institutional sector, Shinhan Bank's 'Shinhan Premier' won for 8 consecutive years. Shinhan Financial Group's 'Shinhan Super SOL' also received awards in the integrated mobile financial platform institutional sector for 7 consecutive years.
In the pizza franchise institutional sector, 'Pizza School' achieved the award for 7 consecutive years, while in the pork institutional sector, Daejeon Chungnam Yangdon Agricultural Association's 'Porkville Fed by Grapes' received the award for 6 consecutive years. In the beer institutional sector, HiteJinro's 'Terra' won, and Genesis BBQ's 'BBQ' was recognized for 3 consecutive years in the restaurant franchise (chicken) institutional sector.
Ganuda's 'Karma' received the award for 4 consecutive years in the topper institutional sector. Ildong Foodis's 'Hymun Frontin Balance' was recognized in the protein supplement institutional sector, 'Gangnam Seoul Bright Eye Clinic' won for 3 consecutive years in the ophthalmology institutional sector, and Green Aloe's 'Aloe St' was awarded in the cosmetics institutional sector for 3 consecutive years.
Companies that received awards for two consecutive years include Grammy's 'Yeomyeong808' (hangover relief institutional sector), LG Uplus's 'Youth' (youth-exclusive communication service institutional sector), and 'Green Zip' (eco-friendly product shopping mall institutional sector).
Newly selected brands this year include 'Gabojung' (rib specialty restaurant institutional sector), Pyeongchang Agricultural Cooperative's 'Clear Promise Pyeongchang' (local specialty product shopping mall institutional sector), Lameditech's 'Puracelmi' (laser beauty device institutional sector), the Korea Heritage Promotion Agency's 'K-Heritage' (cultural product brand institutional sector), KAN's 'Darum' (home appliance institutional sector), Post Mass's 'Math Assistant' (AI math content creation platform institutional sector), and Sun & L Interior's 'Sun Furniture' (total interior institutional sector).
As the most loved city in Korea, Gochang County received the award for 13 consecutive years in the 'Returning to Farming and Village City' institutional sector. Jinju City was recognized for 6 consecutive years in the 'Child-Friendly City' institutional sector, and Gyeongsan City's 'My Universe Gyeongsan' was selected for 2 consecutive years in the city brand institutional sector.
Additionally, Chungju City received the award in the national bioindustry leading city institutional sector, and Anseong City received the award in the global cultural city institutional sector. Geosan County's 'Clean Geosan Natural Echo' won in the local specialty product joint brand institutional sector, while Uiwang City received recognition in the smart safety city institutional sector.
In addition, Taebaek City's 'Oxygen City Taebaek' was awarded in the clean energy leading city institutional sector, and Gangjin County's 'Gangjin Everyone Half-Price Travel' received an award in the stay-based tourism city institutional sector.
Yu Changjo, a professor at Dongguk University who was in charge of the judging, noted, "Customers develop a sense of ownership when they have the opportunity to jointly create value with brands, and they finally become partners with the brand," adding, "I hope the brands receiving awards this year will become strong partners that bring joy and new hope to consumers through creative activities while overcoming this difficult period both domestically and internationally."
