Anseong City was selected as an excellent brand in the global cultural arts institutional sector for the '2025 Most Loved Brands in Korea.'

Anseong has been recognized for its efforts to enhance its urban identity as a cultural city and promote sustainable regional development.

Previously, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism designated Anseong as the only 'cultural city of Korea' in the metropolitan area. Additionally, Anseong was selected for the '2025 East Asia Cultural Cities' project, which is a cultural exchange center connecting Korea, China, and Japan.

Anseong has set the vision for this year's cultural arts city project as 'an artisan and craft culture distribution city, Cultural City Anseong.'

Accordingly, it will advance citizen participation cultural policies such as ▲15-minute cultural exchange space ▲visiting Anseong cultural space ▲cultural space festival. Furthermore, to establish a circular system in the cultural arts industry, it plans to expand the cultural arts infrastructure and foster the cultural industry through various policies, including ▲cultural artisan school ▲cultural business council.

Anseong Mayor Kim Bora said, 'Winning this Most Loved Brand Award has enhanced the cultural pride of Anseong citizens and became a turning point for us to leap forward as a global cultural city,' adding, 'I will do my best to create a sustainable Cultural City Anseong in the future.'
