On the 21st, Homeplus announced that it will integrate its delivery brand into "Magic Delivery" to enhance its online competitiveness. Magic Delivery is an abbreviation for "delivery directly from the store." It also means that fresh products from Homeplus locations across the country will be delivered quickly like magic.
Currently, Homeplus Online operates a variety of delivery and pickup services. The goal is to unify the names of several segmented services into one powerful brand called "Magic" and to increase awareness of delivery and pickup.
The same-day and customized delivery service "Mart Direct Delivery" that was previously conducted at large discount stores will be newly changed to "Magic Delivery." The quick commerce service "Instant Delivery," which delivers from the supermarket Homeplus Express within about an hour, will become "Magic Now," and the "Pickup" service, where customers select a time to visit the store after placing an order, will be rebranded as "Magic Pickup."
To celebrate the brand integration overhaul, a discount event will also be held. Homeplus Online customers will receive a 10% discount coupon and free shipping coupon that can be used with orders of "Magic Delivery" and "Magic Now" until the 27th. Additionally, upon completion of orders in May, a 20% overlapping coupon for milk, eggs, and cheese, valid from the 6th to the 8th (on the 26th to the 31st of each month), will also be provided.
Jo Do-yeon, head of Homeplus marketing, noted, "This overhaul was intended to intuitively integrate the previously different names of delivery and pickup brands, thereby establishing a turning point to showcase the strengths of Homeplus Online." She added, "By analyzing customer data from various channels such as large discount stores and supermarkets, we aim to provide flexible and convenient services tailored to the rapidly changing e-commerce trends by strengthening lifestyle-oriented deliveries."
