'TNF 100 Gangwon' symbolizes The North Face's brand slogan 'Never stop exploring.' It is held in South Korea, along with countries like China, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Thailand, Australia, and Singapore, and is recognized worldwide. The event started in 2016 in South Korea and is held on a large scale as the largest trail running competition organized by a single brand in the country.

This year's competition saw over 2,300 domestic and international athletes participating across three institutional sectors: 11 km, 50 km, and 100 km. The North Face ambassadors, actor Cha Eun-woo and singer Sean, received a warm cheer upon finishing the 11 km segment.

To successfully host the 10th edition of 'TNF 100 Gangwon' this year, The North Face has been making various efforts. During the COVID-19 pandemic, it even held the competition in a virtual format and steadily expanded the scale of the event each year.

In addition, it continues to invest by operating the 'The North Face Running Club', where participants can receive professional trail running techniques from top coaches, including domestic trail running champion Kim Ji-seop (The North Face Athletics Team) and athlete Shin Jae-deok, who is called 'a living legend of ultra runners.'

Sung Ga-eun, president of Youngone Outdoor, noted, 'Thanks to the spirit of 'Never stop exploring' shared by many who have built the history of this competition with The North Face over the past 10 years, 'TNF 100 Gangwon' has become the best global trail running competition in the country.' She added, 'We will continue to strive to contribute to the expansion of the outdoor and sports base in South Korea and make efforts so that more people can experience a better coexistence with nature.'
