Samyang Foods is transferring its headquarters.
On the 16th, Samyang Foods noted that it will transfer its office to Chungmuro 2-ga in Jung-gu, Seoul, in this year's fourth quarter. The new office will have a total floor area of 20,867 square meters, with 6 basement levels and 15 above ground.
Currently, Samyang Foods cannot accommodate all its headquarters personnel at its Hawolgok-dong office, so it is using a separate leased office. However, once it transfers to the new building, it will be able to accommodate about 400 employees from the Seoul-based Samyang Round Square affiliates.
A representative from Samyang Foods explained, “It is necessary to transfer to the downtown area to attract talented individuals suitable for global growth,” and added, “Myeongdong, where the new office will be located, is the optimal place to establish a global consumer touchpoint.”
In the first quarter of this year, Samyang Foods recorded a consolidated revenue of 529 billion won and an operating profit of 134 billion won, marking its highest-ever performance.
