According to OB, sales of CAS Corporation Light increased by more than 55% compared to the same period last year. Its market share grew by 1.9 percentage points to reach 4.9%.
The fact that CAS Corporation Light has risen to third place in the overall domestic beer market, surpassing the 'light beer' category, is significant. This is because the beer market has a characteristic of infrequent ranking changes among top brands. CAS Corporation Light has consistently ranked within the top 10 in home market sales and has enjoyed stable popularity, recently experiencing rapid growth alongside emerging consumer trends such as 'healthy pleasure.' It has 33% fewer calories compared to the existing CAS Corporation Fresh.
An OB official noted, 'CAS Corporation Light is now growing as a key brand leading the overall beer market, beyond just light beer,' adding, 'We will continue to present drinking experiences that resonate with consumers.'
