Kolmar Korea announced on the 9th that its operating profit for the first quarter of this year increased by 84.8% compared to the same period last year, reaching 55.9 billion won.
During the same period, sales amounted to 653 billion won, an increase of 13.6% compared to the same time last year.
Net income for the period increased by 92%, reaching 23.2 billion won.
An official from Kolmar Korea noted that "the strong export of sun care products and increased sales in the makeup institutional sector drove the rise in performance," adding that "the U.S. corporation greatly improved its performance due to the expanded production volume from key clients, and the Chinese corporation also saw a rise in sales and profits due to increased orders for sun care products."
