Paik Jong-won, CEO of Theborn Korea, announced on the 9th that the company will immediately expand a support plan worth 30 billion won. This is to implement the additional support measures mentioned by Paik in a video apology on the 6th. Theborn Korea had already been implementing an emergency support measure worth 5 billion won.
Since this month, Paik has been conducting relay meetings with franchise store owners of brands such as Hong Kong Banjum, Baekdabang, and Rolling Pasta. He plans to continue communicating directly with franchise store owners of all brands in the future.
This support plan includes measures such as ▲waiving royalties ▲discounts on food prices, as well as ▲marketing for new menu launches ▲strengthening membership and joint marketing ▲building a unified membership system and enhancing brand discount benefits ▲support for brand promotions. These measures consider the characteristics and situations of the franchises and include not only simple support measures but also ways to increase actual customer visits.
A representative from Theborn Korea said, "This was confirmed through an emergency board meeting on the 9th."
Paik said, "I will ensure that not a single franchise owner is left behind" and noted, "Using this meeting as an opportunity, I will realize fundamental innovations in franchise policies, going beyond one-time support to establish a unified membership system, improve brand design, develop trendy menus, and improve processes."
