Lotte Mart sold imported livestock products that violated food additive allowance standards and received a penalty surcharge from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety.

According to the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety on the 8th, the Seoul Regional Food and Drug Administration found that the livestock products imported and sold by Lotte Shopping Co., Ltd.'s Lotte Mart business headquarters on Aug. 23 of last year were deemed noncompliant after distribution collection and inspection.

The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety imposed a penalty surcharge of 25.69 million won on Lotte Mart in accordance with Article 7, Section 4 of the Food Sanitation Act (Standards and Regulations for Food or Food Additives) on that day.
