According to the industry on the 7th, Baedal Minjok plans to sign a partnership with the OTT service TVING and launch membership-based products. It is reported that the specific launch schedule is being adjusted.

Baedal Minjok has been operating 'BaeMin Club' since September last year, offering free delivery benefits and shopping coupons for 3,990 won (promotional price of 1,990 won). It appears they will add a new membership product that includes TVING services. This will be the first time that OTT service benefits are introduced in BaeMin Club. The largest shareholder of TVING is CJ ENM, holding 48.9% equity.

The industry believes that Baedal Minjok chose TVING to strengthen its membership in response to Coupang's Wow Membership. Competitor Coupang Eats is expanding its market share through free delivery benefits linked with Coupang Wow Membership and free viewing of Coupang Play.
