Hyundai Department Store announced on the 1st that it will host the event 'Le Moment de Paris' in collaboration with the French Chamber of Commerce in Korea until August 31.
The 11th-floor Sky Garden at the Trade Center store will be decorated as a space harmonizing cool fountains and elegant statues. According to Hyundai Department Store, the concept is inspired by the Tuileries Garden in Paris, which is the oldest garden in the city. Street performances and various customer participation events will also take place here.
Starting on the 16th, a French market will be held in the basement level 1. Brands recommended directly by the French Chamber of Commerce in Korea will participate here. Centered around a flower market reminiscent of Paris, visitors can enjoy a variety of products, including desserts, bakery items, alcoholic beverages, fashion, and cosmetics.
On the 24th, an exhibition titled 'The Artist, Forever: 영원히, 화가' by French master Eugène Delacroix will open at the 10th-floor cultural hall. The focal points are Delacroix's new works and original artworks, which are being publicly displayed for the first time in the world this year.
A representative from Hyundai Department Store noted, 'Starting with the Arab culture in 2023 and followed by last year's event themed around the Czech Republic, this year we will introduce the unique culture and lifestyle of France as our third global theme.' They added, 'Given that the Trade Center store attracts many foreigners of various nationalities, we will continue to provide unique global themes.'
