According to Nongshim on that day, a total of 1.44 million bags of Melon Kick were sold in the first week after its launch. This figure is over 40% higher than the 1 million bags sold during the same period of the product that had previously caused a 'supply shortage crisis,' Meoktaekgang.

Recently, various ways to enjoy Melon Kick, primarily online, have been revealed. Consumers are introducing methods such as freezing Melon Kick or eating it with yogurt and ice cream. Nongshim noted that Melon Kick is expected to establish itself as a hit snack following Meoktaekgang, and plans to expand its production.

The sales of Banana Kick, the original version of Melon Kick, have also increased by about 50% compared to the same period last year. Banana Kick has gained global attention recently after singer Jennie introduced it as her favorite snack on a U.S. talk show.
