Lotte Tour Development announced on the 29th that it will conduct a recruitment drive for 400 personnel at the Jeju Dream Tower integrated resort.
This is due to a recent surge in visitors, and the company is recruiting both entry-level and experienced staff. The hiring will cover all institutional sectors, including room management, food and beverage, various management departments, and casino dealers.
According to Lotte Tour Development, the number of rooms sold at the Grand Hyatt Jeju within the Jeju Dream Tower this month reached 41,000, a 35% increase compared to the same period last year.
The room reservation rate increased by 22 percentage points compared to the same period last year, reaching 85%. This figure exceeds the record set in August last year, which was the peak season (82.6%). During the May golden holiday period, more than 1,500 rooms were sold daily.
Kim Jin-hee, senior managing director of human resources at Lotte Tour Development, noted, "We plan to hire talent by recognizing various experiences not only in hotels but also in restaurants, golf courses, and shopping malls," adding that candidates who can speak Chinese and those with experience in the same industry will be given preference.
