Nongshim announced on the 28th that it opened its first 'Shin Ramyeon Snack Bar' near the world-renowned tourist destination of Machu Picchu on the 21st (local time). Nongshim plans to expand engagement with global consumers visiting Machu Picchu and provide an experience of the Nongshim ramen brand.

The Shin Ramyeon Snack Bar in Peru is located in Aguas Calientes, the essential gateway to Machu Picchu, and is built over three floors. The first floor serves as an experiential space where visitors can cook and taste ramen themselves, while the second floor features exhibitions introducing the history of Shin Ramyeon and the main product portfolio of Nongshim, which has grown into a global brand.

Nongshim's policy is to operate 'Shin Ramyeon Snack Bars' in major tourist destinations around the world to actively promote the spiciness of Shin Ramyeon and the Nongshim brand to global consumers. The company plans to open a 'Shin Ramyeon Snack Bar' in the Asia region during the first half of the year and is considering additional constructions at major landmarks worldwide.

A Nongshim official noted, "I expect the 'Shin Ramyeon Snack Bar' to become a hot place for enjoying diverse global landmarks, like the ‘Jungfrau,’ the roof of Europe, and the southernmost city on Earth, Chile's ‘Punta Arenas’ Shin Ramyeon experience site." They added, "We will continue to strengthen experiential marketing to meet directly with global consumers."
