F&F announced on the 28th that it has completed the transfer of its headquarters to a new building on Teheran-ro, Gangnam, and has established a troll tower for its global fashion business. F&F aims to support the improvement of employees' work environments in the new building and to use it as a strategic base to accelerate the global expansion of its core brands.
F&F's new building has 14 floors above ground and 5 underground. The company expects that the consolidation of previously scattered business divisions due to global expansion will enhance communication between divisions and increase work synergy.
The new building is equipped with various infrastructures to maximize employee capabilities. It features an in-house restaurant and fitness center and is close to major subway stations in Gangnam. A spacious and pleasant work environment, along with meeting rooms and lounge facilities for various businesses, has also been established.
Kim Chang-soo, chairman of F&F, told employees on the 14th, upon moving into the new building, "The year we moved into the building in Yeoksam-dong in 2008 was the year of the global financial crisis that began with the Lehman Brothers collapse. Just as we moved into the new house, the world economy was in turmoil, but our company overcame the crisis by coming up with great ideas in a wonderful building."
He continued, "This year, as we moved to the new building, the global economy is also fluctuating like déjà vu. I believe that times of uncertainty in the future indicate a period of significant change in the world. Our company will actively respond to this era of great changes to become a corporation with greater leadership and influence, and to have employees who continue to develop further."
Chairman Kim stated, "The Yeoksam building focused on style and laid the foundation for our development into a global fashion corporation. In contrast, this Gangnam building emphasizes the active life of employees," and added, "Let’s sail faster and more wonderfully riding the wave of this massive change happening in our new workspace."
