Hy announced on the 21st that it will increase the price of Yakult Light by 30 won starting from the 1st of next month.
Accordingly, the product price will rise from 220 won to 250 won, an increase of 13.6%. This price hike is the first in 2 years and 7 months since September 2022.
A Hy official noted, “The burden of manufacturing costs has intensified due to rising prices of raw materials such as sugar and packaging materials, as well as logistics and labor costs,” adding, “Considering the difficult economic conditions and consumer burden, we minimized the items subject to price increases and the extent of increases.”
