SeaA Sangyuk, a subsidiary of the Global SeaA Group, announced on the 21st that it had conducted the 'Zero Power Challenge' campaign in collaboration with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) over three days from the 15th to the 17th.
SeaA Sangyuk established pop-up booths at the SeaA Building and In the F Building on Teheran Road in Gangnam, Seoul, to raise awareness among employees about the seriousness of the climate crisis and to explore ways to practice climate action in daily life. Its affiliate, In the F, and S&A also participated.
The 'Zero Power Challenge' campaign was planned with the aim of temporarily halting power consumption and minimizing carbon emissions ahead of Earth Day, designated on April 22 each year. This campaign was designed as an interactive program where participants could directly write down climate actions they can practice in their daily lives along with a pledge for climate crisis response.
In particular, SeaA Sangyuk noted that the program 'Click to Give,' introduced by the WWF to normalize donations, received high interest as it offers a donation method that seamlessly connects with online shopping.
Last May, SeaA Sangyuk joined the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) to promote ethical business operations and achieve sustainable development goals, and is participating in the 'Fashion Forever Green' agreement conducted by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) to strengthen practical ESG management.
