Lotte announced on the 21st that it would hold 'Pokémon Town 2025 with Lotte' (hereinafter 'Pokémon Town 2025') from the 25th to the 18th of next month at the Lotte World Tower, Lotte World Mall, and Seokchon Lake in Songpa District, Seoul.

Pokémon Town is a content business project that has been conducted company-wide since last year. This year, 12 affiliates, including Lotte World, Lotte GRS, Lotte Department Store, and Lotte Giants, will participate. Last year's 'Pokémon Town 2024,' which was held with 10 affiliates, attracted 4 million visitors during the event period (April 26 to May 19). This figure represents an increase of more than 20% compared to the previous year.

'Pokémon Town 2025' will expand in scale compared to last year, with a differentiated event theme. The main event venue has been changed to the World Park lawn square, which is 1,000 pyeong in size, 400 pyeong larger than before.

This year's event theme features Metamon, who can transform into all Pokémon. While previous Pokémon events exhibited various Pokémon, this time Metamon and different forms of Pokémon that Metamon has transformed into will be displayed.

The main exhibit of this event is a 16-meter tall Lapras and Pikachu large balloon displayed on the east side of Seokchon Lake. The exhibit shows Pikachu riding Lapras, similar to last year, but this year's Pikachu and Lapras are different in that they are Pokémon transformed by Metamon.

At the main event venue, Lotte World Tower World Park lawn square, visitors can enjoy a variety of Pokémon-related experiences and exhibitions. The event will feature 100 Metamon, a Metamon worldview experience booth, large photo zones, and more. Diverse events, including Pokémon card exhibitions, Pokémon photo times, and prize events, will also take place at Lotte World Mall and Lotte Department Store in Jamsil.

Participating affiliates, including Lotte Duty Free, Uniqlo, Lotte Giants, and Korea Seven, will launch various new products utilizing Pokémon intellectual property, and Lotte GRS has prepared diverse events at the Angel-in-us store in Lotte World Mall with a Pokémon concept.

In collaboration with the Songpa District Office, Lotte will also work to revitalize the local commercial area. On weekends and holidays, visitors who present receipts issued by restaurants and cafes near Seokchon Lake at the event booth in front of the Songpa Tourism Information Center will receive various prizes, including Pikachu balloons, Lotte World Adventure comprehensive use tickets, and Lotte Cinema tickets.

A Lotte official noted, "Last year, the group successfully hosted the content business project for the first time, securing exclusive creations that combined popular IPs and attracting large offline events," and added, "We will continue to strengthen a content business model that only Lotte can pursue by collaborating with global IPs."
