Lotte Duty Free announced on the 18th that it will unveil new marketing techniques for both domestic and foreign customers.

For domestic customers, a campaign will be launched with the slogan "Shopping, Before You Leave." It embodies the features of duty-free shopping that can only be enjoyed within a limited time before traveling.

The new slogan for foreign customers is "Tax-Free is Good, Duty-Free is Better." This aims to emphasize the benefits of duty-free compared to tax-free, thereby enhancing awareness of duty-free purchases. While tax-free stores only exempt consumption tax, duty-free stores exempt tariffs and consumption taxes.

An outdoor advertising campaign will be conducted at major subway stations in Seoul and other places frequently visited by foreign tourists.

To celebrate the new brand campaign, Lotte Duty Free will offer discounts of up to 70% on more than 40 brands, including Ferragamo, Tory Burch, and Estée Lauder, at offline stores until the 4th of next month. At Lotte Internet Duty Free, a "Last-Minute Shop" event will offer discounts of up to 65% on 25 types of products until the 11th of next month.

A representative from Lotte Duty Free said, "We have prepared various promotions and discount benefits so that customers can fully enjoy the charms of duty-free shopping through the new marketing campaign" and noted, "We will continue to strive to deliver the differentiated value unique to Lotte Duty Free."
