Nongshim snack ‘Banana Kick’ has been transformed into a donut in the United States.

Nongshim has partnered with dessert cafe ‘Knotted’ to introduce the signature menu item ‘Banana Kick Cream Donut’ at the first overseas location of Knotted, located in Westfield, Los Angeles.

It features rich cream that captures the soft and sweet flavor and aroma unique to Banana Kick, topped with Banana Kick snacks. Nongshim and Knotted plan to further expand local consumer interest in Banana Kick by also launching ‘Banana Kick Cream Latte’ in the future.

Recently, Nongshim Banana Kick has been identified as a preferred snack among famous K-pop stars, garnering significant attention globally. Nongshim plans to enhance its brand recognition in the U.S. by showcasing various collaborative menu items with Knotted, including the recently launched Melon Kick.

A Nongshim representative noted, “It is generating significant buzz to use Banana Kick as a signature menu item at a store with the symbolism of being the first overseas location,” adding, “We will actively promote marketing to ensure that the Kick series, including Banana Kick, can grow into a global snack brand.”

Meanwhile, buoyed by recent support for Banana Kick, Nongshim plans to launch a new product from the Kick series, ‘Melon Kick,’ on the 21st, 50 years after the launch of Banana Kick, and to begin expanding exports to the U.S., Japan, and China markets.
