The representative brand of premium wine importer WINELL, Fantini’s ‘Edizione Signature Collection’ and ‘Zolla Primitivo di Manduria’ won the grand award at the 2025 Korea Wine & Spirits Awards.
The Korea Wine & Spirits Awards is the representative liquor tasting event of South Korea, now in its 12th year. Since 2014, ChosunBiz has been holding the event annually with the goal of ‘discovering and widely promoting good domestic liquor and supporting the development of a healthy liquor culture.’
This year’s event featured 236 companies showcasing a total of 1,008 brands, making it the largest domestic tasting competition dealing with comprehensive alcohol. Among them, 431 brands received the Daesang.
Fantini is a renowned boutique winery representing Italy, selected multiple times as the ‘Best Italian Producer’ by the prominent wine critic Luca Maroni. It produces premium wines that reflect the regional characteristics, covering the whole of southern Italy, centered around its homeland of Abruzzo.
The Edizione Signature Collection features labels crafted from textiles by the prestigious Italian suit brand Brioni, known for being one of the best red wines in Italy (by Luca Maroni).
Zolla Primitivo di Manduria is a wine from Fantini’s brand ‘Vigneti del Salento’, representing the Puglia region, showcasing the pinnacle of Primitivo wine through innovative winemaking techniques derived from old vines.
