NaEoe Distillery (located in Sancheong-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do) has won the grand award at the 2025 Korea Wine & Spirits Awards.
The Korea Wine & Spirits Awards is Korea's representative liquor competition, marking its 12th year this year. Since 2014, ChosunBiz has been holding this annual event with the goal of 'discovering and widely promoting good domestic liquor and supporting the formation of a healthy drinking culture.'
This year, 236 companies entered a total of 1,008 brands. This is the largest scale among domestic competitions covering comprehensive liquors. Of these, 431 brands received the Daesang.
NaEoe21 is a premium distilled soju launched in the second half of last year. Made with only rice and water, NaEoe21 has a fresh fruit aroma created during the fermentation of rice, along with a roasted grain finish.
NaEoe Distillery was established in August 2024 by CEO Choi Young-woong, a PhD in architectural engineering, and Director Kim Tae-geon, who is inheriting a 100-year brewing family business, as a liquor production division of the brand 'NaEoe (NAEOE)'.
