Vegan makeup brand Dinto is launching its fifth donation project.
On the 11th, Dinto announced that it had donated 10.04 million won in cash along with 1,004 sets of cosmetics to the Green Umbrella Child Foundation to support the independence of girls who have aged out of the system.
This project is being carried out as part of the new product 'Sandrion Collection', which reinterprets the fairy tale 'Cinderella'. It is designed as a 1:1 participatory donation model, where for every set purchased by consumers, an identical product is delivered to a girl who has aged out of the system.
Consumers can purchase a planned set of cosmetics worth 100,000 won at a 70% discounted price of 30,000 won (free shipping), and Dinto will additionally contribute 10.04 million won in donations separately.
This initiative is not merely a sponsorship; it is a structure that applies the brand philosophy to reality while accepting a significant expense.
The set is designed for late teenagers who are not familiar with makeup and is produced in two versions: warm and cool. A total of 1,004 sets, with 502 sets of each version, have been prepared, considering both usability and aesthetics.
Dinto CEO An Ji-hye noted, “I hope this project becomes a meaningful narrative for both the girls receiving support and the participating consumers.”
Dinto plans to continue its activities centered on social values and to share these values in participatory ways, further expanding its identity as a beauty brand with a philosophical sensibility.
