Hy Chairman Yoon Ho-jung announced on the 10th that he donated 300 million won as relief funds for wildfire damage recovery.

This donation will be delivered through the Korean Red Cross to the special disaster areas including Sancheong, Gyeongnam, Uljin, Ulsan, and Uiseong, North Gyeongsang Province, and will be used for supporting disaster victims and recovery personnel.

Chairman Yoon emphasized the role of corporations in practicing 'corporate social responsibility' at the time of his inauguration in 2019.

Hy and Paldo have been involved in various social contribution activities since the days of Korea Yakult.

The 'Sharing of Love Kimjang,' which was conducted for 14 years starting in 2001, is a representative example. The internal direct sales organization 'Fresh Manager (formerly Yakult Ladies)' makes kimchi directly and shares it with underprivileged neighbors. A total of 1.35 million packs of kimchi were made, reaching 275,000 households.

The Sharing of Love Kimjang has been modified to operate as a 'single elderly care activity' that asks about the well-being of single elderly individuals, in order to contribute to solving social issues such as the increasing elderly population and solitary deaths.

A representative of Hy said, "Hy and Paldo have practiced social responsibility under the founding ideology of 'building a healthy society'" and added, "We will continue to carry out public utilities consistently to convey positive influence."
