Kolmar Korea announced on the 7th that Chairman Yoon Dong-han has donated 100 million won to support the recovery from the large-scale wildfire damage and assistance for the victims that recently occurred in the regions of Uiseong County in Gyeongsangbuk-do and Sancheong County in Gyeongsangnam-do.
This donation was delivered through the Korea National Red Cross on the 4th. The funds will be used for emergency relief supplies and necessities for the victims, as well as recovery efforts in the affected areas.
The regions of Uiseong in Gyeongsangbuk-do and Sancheong in Gyeongsangnam-do have suffered extensive damage due to the recent wildfires, with dwellings and farmland being destroyed. Chairman Yoon Dong-han said, “I decided to make this donation to provide some support to the victims who have lost their homes due to the wildfires,” adding, “I sincerely hope the residents of the affected areas can return to their daily lives as soon as possible.”
Chairman Yoon expressed his condolences by donating 200 million won, providing 100 million won each to the families of firefighters who died while extinguishing a fire at the Mungyeong factory in January. In March 2022, he had donated 100 million won to support recovery efforts in the wildfire-affected area of Uljin in Gyeongsangbuk-do.
