Musinsa is accelerating its entry into the secondhand fashion business.

Following the trademark application, Musinsa plans to launch 'Musinsa Used' in conjunction with legal groundwork established by amending its articles.

According to Musinsa's business report on the 1st, the company amended its articles at the regular shareholders' meeting held the day before to pursue a business related to secondhand products.

With this amendment, Musinsa added 'wholesale and retail business for secondhand products and sales brokerage' to its business objectives. Additionally, it incorporated leather, bag and shoe manufacturing, product inspection services, market research, and opinion polling.

The launch of the secondhand fashion-related service 'Musinsa Used' is expected to accelerate. The service is anticipated to start as early as the first half of this year or by the end of the year.

In January of this year, Musinsa applied for multiple trademarks for 'Musinsa Used (MUSINSA USED).'

The designated products for the trademark include ▲retail of clothing ▲retail of bags ▲retail of shoes ▲storage services ▲delivery services, among others.

Following the trademark application and amendment of its articles, Musinsa has laid the legal groundwork to enter the secondhand fashion business. After further development and testing of services, a new service will be launched.

A Musinsa official noted, "We are in the preparation process with the goal of launching Musinsa Used within this year."

In the mid-2010s, as part of community activities, Musinsa supported peer-to-peer secondhand transactions for its members. It is also operating a limited-edition trading platform called Sold Out.
