E-Land Group announced on the 1st that it will urgently support clothing and daily necessities worth 500 million won to help residents affected by the large-scale forest fires.
This support will be delivered by the E-Land Welfare Foundation in collaboration with local relief organizations such as the Gyeongbuk Red Cross, and it is composed of items that the disaster victims practically need.
The support items include men's and women's underwear and socks, short-sleeved T-shirts, sportswear sets, and children's clothing from the fashion brand "SPAO." They also donated 1,693 blankets and mats sponsored through E-Land Group's household goods brand, Modern House.
A representative from E-Land Group noted, "We decided to donate clothing utilizing the brand capabilities held by the group to provide practical help to residents suffering from this sudden disaster," and added, "I hope the disaster victims can alleviate some of their discomforts with the clothing and bedding they urgently need."
The E-Land Welfare Foundation will also conduct a fundraising campaign for disaster victims together with employees until the 22nd. The raised funds will be used to support housing costs, living expenses, medical expenses, and self-sufficiency costs for foreign workers, disabled individuals, and elderly people living alone who are overlooked by government support.
