The Korea Wine & Spirits Awards is the representative liquor competition in South Korea, now in its 12th year. It has been held annually since 2014 by ChosunBiz with the aim of 'discovering and promoting good domestic liquor and supporting the formation of a healthy drinking culture.'

This year's event featured 236 companies showcasing a total of 1,008 brands, making it the largest scale liquor competition in South Korea. Among them, 431 brands received the grand award.

Stone Bay Red Blend is a wine designed to suit Korean consumers' tastes, created with special care from planning to brewing through a direct visit to New Zealand.

This wine is blended with 70% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 15% Malbec. It features smooth tannins and rich aromas of red cherry, plum, and red berry. It pairs excellently with various Korean dishes such as bulgogi and galbi jjim, and particularly offers the best pairing when enjoyed with samgyeopsal, Ernes noted.

Famous food vlogger 'Secret' introduced it as a wine that's great for drinking one bottle a day, helping it gain popularity. Stone Bay Red Blend is currently easily available for purchase at convenience stores and large supermarkets.
