On the 28th, Atomy Co., Ltd. (Chairman Park Han-gil) donated 10 billion won to the Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Kim Byung-jun) to support the victims of the forest fire in the Yeongnam region.

Additionally, it provided relief supplies worth 350 million won to help those affected and the fire extinguishing personnel.

This donation will be used to support the families of deceased fire service personnel, cover medical expenses for the injured, provide relief and recovery for forest fire-affected areas, support victims with daily necessities and housing, and assist in the recovery of children's care facilities in the Gyeongnam area.

It will also urgently supply items worth 350 million won necessary on-site, such as bottled water, wet wipes, ramen, and soy milk, for the fire victims and the fire extinguishing personnel affected by the largest forest fire in history.

Atomy's 10 billion won donation for forest fire relief is the largest single donation in the history of the Community Chest of Korea's disaster relief donations.

Atomy's support for forest fire victims originated from voluntary fundraising by Atomy members. The 'ASOAS Sharing Association,' a self-help group for Atomy members, recently launched a fundraising campaign for members living in the fire-affected areas. As news of the fundraising spread, the company decided to donate 10 billion won to support the rapid firefighting and recovery efforts.

Chairman Park Han-gil of Atomy said, "I hope this can help even a little for those who are fighting to extinguish the fire even at this moment and for the victims who have lost their homes." He added, "Atomy, a corporation that values souls, will continue to share for disaster and calamity recovery together with its 3 million members."

Kim Byung-jun, chairman of the Community Chest of Korea, said, "I appreciate Atomy for once again making a significant donation, continuing to provide the largest contributions among mid-sized corporations." He noted, "The donation and relief supplies will be promptly used for the livelihood support of the victims and for emergency assistance and recovery, and the heartfelt intentions will be conveyed as courage to the residents of the affected areas. The Community Chest will do its best to ensure this."

In 2019, Atomy donated 10 billion won to the Community Chest of Korea as part of the 'MOM' fund of life for single-parent families, marking the highest amount for a mid-sized corporation. Following that, it donated another 10 billion won to support vulnerable groups and solve community problems. With the current donation of 10 billion won for forest fire relief and the donation of supplies, the total contributions have exceeded 30 billion won.
