It has been revealed that Seo Kyung-bae, chairman of AMOREPACIFIC Group, received 3.8 billion won in compensation last year through Amorepacific Corporation and the holding company AMOREPACIFIC Group.

According to the business reports of AMOREPACIFIC Group and Amorepacific on the 18th, Chairman Seo received 2.856 billion won from Amorepacific and 950 million won from AMOREPACIFIC Group, totaling 3.8606 billion won in compensation.

This represents about a 2.5% decrease compared to 3.903 billion won in 2023.

AMOREPACIFIC Group paid Chairman Seo a salary of 825 million won and a bonus of 125 million won as compensation.

Amorepacific paid a salary of 2.539 billion won, a bonus of 259 million won, and other earned income of 58 million won.

In addition, he received 144 shares of common stock from Amorepacific and 3,412 shares of common stock from AMOREPACIFIC Group, which were not included in the total compensation.

Regarding the salary, Amorepacific explained that "total salary was calculated and paid by dividing it into base pay and management allowances according to the executive regulations approved by the board of directors."

The bonuses included organizational performance bonuses compliant with executive regulations, management stock compensation, special performance bonuses, and long-term incentives.
