Young Plaza is a store that was launched with the new brand Young Plaza after Lotte Department Store acquired the existing Midopa Department Store (Metro Midopa) in 2002.

At the time of its opening, it garnered significant attention as a store with a new concept specialized in the fashion category targeting young customers.

Since then, Young Plaza has continuously evolved, maintaining the 'Young' concept while showcasing global SPA (integrated manufacturing and distribution), online-based fashion brands, and intellectual property (IP) content in accordance with changing times.

In particular, thanks to its location facing Myeongdong for decades, it has established itself as a gathering place for young customers in conjunction with the Myeongdong commercial area.

Lotte Department Store aims to explore various ways to leverage the location advantages of Young Plaza while creating synergy with the main building and the Avenue L mall.

Meanwhile, Lotte Department Store continues to strive to enhance the competitiveness of the main store to complete 'Lotte Town Myeongdong,' which represents the northern commercial area.

The main building has successively opened ▲ Namsung overseas fashion hall ▲ women's fashion hall ▲ food hall ▲ beauty hall ▲ sports and leisure hall ▲ kids hall after starting a major renewal in 2021 following the establishment of the premium living hall (8th floor) in 2019.

In the upcoming second half of the year, it plans to introduce a K-fashion exhibition center 'Kinetic Ground' focused on emerging designers. The main store's Avenue L mall is also being prepared for renewal.
