Coupang announced that the cumulative sales of sellers who entered the dedicated planning center for small and medium-sized enterprises, "Good Store," have surpassed 3 trillion won as of the end of last year on the 4th.

The sales of the Good Store, which opened in 2022, surpassed 1 trillion won by the end of 2023, generating 2 trillion won in sales over the following year.

The Good Store sells regional specialty products, such as seaweed and salted fish, as well as food and manufactured goods made by companies with excellent technology from small local production facilities.

The number of products from the Good Store presented to Coupang customers last year was 580,000, an increase of 26% compared to 460,000 in 2023.

The Good Store is positioned on the main screen of the Coupang app along with the "Rocket Fresh" and "Rocket Delivery" tabs. Approximately 70% of all Coupang sellers are small businesses with annual sales of less than 3 billion won.

In the case of Kitchen Blooming, a kitchenware manufacturer in Gimpo, Gyeonggi Province, after entering Coupang in March 2023, last year's sales increased by 700% compared to the previous year. As a result, the size of employment also tripled. Now, Coupang accounts for 80% of total sales.

Park Dae-jun, head of Coupang's new business division, noted, "The sales of small and medium-sized enterprises in the Good Store, which was started to grow together with small and medium-sized enterprises nationwide, show rapid growth every year," and added, "We will continue to actively collaborate with relevant agencies and local governments to open new growth opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises."
