Paris Baguette announced on the 7th that it will raise prices on some products starting the 10th.
The items subject to increase include 96 types of bread and 25 types of cake, with an average increase of 5.9%. This price increase is the first in two years since February 2023. Key items seeing a price increase include "Ggeureodotoseu," which will rise from 3,600 won to 3,700 won (2.8%), and "Soboru Bread," which will go from 1,500 won to 1,600 won (6.7%). The "Strawberry Blossom Cake" will also increase from 19,000 won to 19,900 won (4.7%).
A representative from Paris Baguette noted, "We have inevitably had to adjust prices due to the rise in raw material costs and various expenses."
