Korea Seven's convenience store Seven Eleven announced on the 5th that it will unveil 'Black Circle Whiskey,' developed in collaboration with broadcaster Shin Dong-yeop.

Earlier, Seven Eleven and Shin Dong-yeop launched the 'Draft Beer' canned draft beer in collaboration in October last year, marking a first in the convenience store industry, followed by the introduction of two types of 'Black Circle Highball.'

'Draft Beer' has been popular since its launch, ranking second in sales within the beer category. Black Circle is a premium alcoholic beverage series from Seven Eleven that aims to introduce a drink loved by everyone, based on the history of remembering flavors or grades through the circle colors depicted on the bottles.

The Black Circle Whiskey being introduced this time features Shin Dong-yeop's participation in all product planning and development stages, including tasting whiskey essence and package design.

It is characterized by blending high-quality Speyside and Highland malt whiskey and grain whiskey produced by renowned distilleries in Scotland to create a smooth finish. When consumed in the 'neat' style, which involves enjoying the whiskey itself without ice or water, the flavors can be experienced more vividly.

To commemorate the launch of Black Circle Whiskey, Seven Eleven will offer a 10% on-site discount for purchases of the product using Kakao Pay money, Lotte Card, and NH Nonghyup Card throughout the month of February.

Song Seung-bae, product planner (MD) of the Seven Eleven beverage and alcohol team, noted, 'Black Circle Whiskey was developed with great care in the hope of becoming the people's whiskey in collaboration with broadcaster Shin Dong-yeop.' He added, 'We aimed to create a satisfying taste that anyone can enjoy, regardless of how it is consumed.'
