The liquor importer Geumyang International announced on the 16th that it has launched the Bin 798 RWT Shiraz Snake Edition from the famous Australian wine brand Penfolds.
Penfolds is a representative winery in Australia that produces the wine "Grange," which was registered as a national cultural heritage in Australia in 2001. The history of Australian wine can be divided into before and after the birth of Grange, highlighting its solid status in the Australian wine industry.
RWT stands for Red Winemaking Trial, a name that honors the countless attempts made in the early 1990s to create premium Australian wines. According to Geumyang International, this wine is modern, luxurious, and sophisticated.
The limited edition introduced this time is from the 2022 harvest. Geumyang International noted that 2022 was a year in which the vines in this region achieved a perfect balance of sweetness and polyphenols. This wine has been aged for 14 months in French oak barrels, offering abundant aromas and distinctly showcasing the rich texture of the Shiraz grape variety. Experts evaluated that it has outstanding concentration and balance, possessing the potential for long-term aging.
The limited edition package features a snake symbolizing elegance and wisdom, represented in the signature red color of the Penfolds brand. This limited edition will be sold exclusively, with only 156 bottles available nationwide at department stores.
A representative from Geumyang International noted, "This is a premium wine that is perfect for gifting to loved ones, wishing them success and prosperity."
