On the 15th, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that he had concluded a new trade agreement with Indonesia.
President Trump wrote on his social media platform, Truth Social, that he had achieved a great transaction with Indonesia "for everyone" and noted, "I negotiated directly with their esteemed president."
He also did not reveal any specific details, stating, "Further details will be announced later."
Earlier, President Trump disclosed a letter indicating that, starting from the 1st of next month, tariffs of 32% would be imposed, as announced in April in Indonesia.
Meanwhile, since the second Trump administration began in January, the countries that have reached new trade agreements with the United States include the United Kingdom, China, and Vietnam.
